Changes for the new year ? Empty Changes for the new year ?

I havent had alot of time to work on the car, but the motor is about ready to go back in. I guess its gonna get a new paint job, and debating on a new cage and a few other little things. Ordered some fiberglass doors and frontend so i have a little work to do.

Where is the Beretta i would like to come check it out if thats cool. i wanted to try and build a diffrent car and a beretta was on top of the list but i guess i will run the malibu until i find or start another car.

yeah i wish i would have went ahead and got the fiberglass frontend for mine i think it looks a little better than the stock one but maybe later. Im just ready to get it done and have some fun. i think i should have bought a rolling chasis instead. lol The car is at my house ride up if you get a chance and check it out. the malibu should put up an impressive number when you get it lightened up a little. cant wait!!

I am freshening my motor up. While it's out I'm going to change cams and switch over to E85. After I get the tuning worked out, I may add a little laughing gas. Laughing I am hoping for some 5.6-7ish passes. I am shipping the converter off tomorrow to tighten it up. That should help the car hook better. I can always loosen it back up with some juice. Very Happy

Travis, sounds like it should be ready to make some quick passes. I have allways wanted to try the spray but im scared it might loosen more things up than the car. LOL

Brent, if this is the travis you were asking, yeah ive have the malibu in pieces right now. She is on a diet got some new fiberglass coming my best guess right now i would say she has dropped about 300# still looking for more.

David wison has done several engines for us in the past during the ol' dirt track days, david has allways been good to us and has built some good motors as well. This current motor was not built by him. But i would never give it a second thought if i were looking for a new motor, i would give him a ring at any time great guy and family we have know them for a number of years now.

how bout you any new changes for you?

Changes for the new year ? Empty Changes for the 2011 season

No Big changes on my car just a gear change and maybe a little diet. I been thinking about a little laughing gas maybe a 100 shot. Who did you order your fiberglass from. Its expensive to gain them 10ths. Might go to Shadyside and test thing's out in a few weeks.

All the fiberglass and lexan come from VFN Fiberglass. I have also thought about a little spray but havent decided on it yet. The gas is cheap horsepower but things dont allways go right and can be expensive also.

yeah, i didnt think i would make the first few races. i also have a new baby coming in a few weeks so that will also cut down on my time in the shop. If i can get in a few days of work i should have it ready for some new paint. Main thing is that its going back together, few more snow days and that would help also..

Hi guys. I havent had much time to get on here, Hope everyone is doing good and is ready to come back to the mountain. I havent done a whole lot to the naggin aggie car other that rewiring the whole car and tuning the susp. a little and some other odds and ends. Im not sure how the tuning will work but we will see if it will stand on the bumper some this year. That is if we dont break something first. Hope everyone can make it out to the banquet at the fox and hounds supper club. Well see you in a month or so.
